All ControlFreq devices have features that relate directly to the current date and time. 

Without the correct time/date setting, time-related functionalities will not operate correctly. Some newer firmwware versions automatically update the time and date when the clocks change however on some occasions, and with older firmware versions, it may not update.

On these occasions you can prompt the device to update to match the network time & date by sending a few simple SMS text messages to the SIM card phone number in your ControlFreq device.
